Sweet and Spicy Beef Roast
I forgot a picture of all the ingredients together. Sorry!
- 1 4lb. roast beef, frozen
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon BBQ seasoning
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
- 2 bullion cubes
- 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
- 4 cups warm water
Step One
Place the roast into a slow cooker.
Add sliced onions to the pot.
Sprinkle salt and pepper onto the roast.
Add Cajun seasoning...
then, the cumin.
Sprinkle on the BBQ seasoning and
the brown sugar.
Spoon tomato paste on top.
Add bullion cubes and
chopped garlic.
Pour warm water over the top.
Cover.
Cook for 6 to 8 hours.
(As you can see I went with 6 because I was in an rush, but it was still perfect!)
Remove the roast from the slow cooker and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
Cut the strings and remove.
Slice the roast into thick pieces.
Drizzle remaining sauce and onions over each serving.
