Can I Have S'mores Brownies, Please?

Today, I decided to surprise the girls with a special after-school snack of S'mores Brownies. The recipe that I've created is super simple to make and the kids love them! I guarantee as soon as you make them, they'll be asking "Can I Have S'mores Brownies, Please?"



S'mores Brownies

1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) butter, melted
1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 package brownie mix
3 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup oil
2 cups marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a 9"x 13" baking dish, combine the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs.

Press the crumb mixture to the bottom of the baking dish to create a crust. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the crust from the oven.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, water and oil.

Pour the brownie mixture over the graham cracker crust. Return to oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove brownies from the oven.

Sprinkle marshmallows over the brownies. Return to oven and bake for an additional 3 minutes.

Remove S'mores Brownies from the oven and allow them to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.

** By the way, I should probably mention, there is nothing wrong with the marshmallows in my picture. They look yellow and they are slightly, but they aren't bad ;-) They were french vanilla flavored marshmallows...yum!
